EA Stocks Hits An All Time High In The Last 12 Months
EA are often underfire from hardcore gamers for some of their practices and ideologies. This is highlighted by the company being publicly voted 'The Worst Country in America' twice in recent years.
That hasn't hurt the company of late though. As reported by GameSpot, the company's stock is currently at an all time high of $72.07. That is double where it was 12 months ago. In terms of the stock market…well, it is a lot. CNBC have called this the "best-performing stock in the S&P 500."
Honestly, I believe a healthy EA is healthy for games. It gives them wiggle room to try and back games like Unravel as well as put money into investing in new IP, rather than relying on older franchises. Here's hoping the company puts their new found stock price, and recent great finacial reports to good use. I feel confident they will.
