Halo 5's Campaign To Be Twice As Long As Halo 4's
Halo 4 is still a personal favorite of mine. I know it rubbed fans the wrong way for various reasons, but to me, it was just a ton of fun. But one of the real reasons I love it so much was that it told the best story of any Halo game to date. It was taught, but meaningful expansion that tried to humanise Master Chief in a way he hadn't been before.
Well, GamesRadar are reporting the Halo 5's campaign will be twice as long as its predecessor. The last game took around 8 hours to complete for reference. What's even crazier is the fact that the game was originally longer than it is now, before 343 scaled back.
To me, this news actually makes me a little more nervous than happy. I really do enjoy a nice, condensed single player experience around the 10 hour mark. It's not like the multiplayer won't tack on tens of hours of fun to help make the purchase of the game worth it.
I do trust 343 though, and if they need 16 hours to tell the story they want, than I can get behind that too.
