Phantom Dust Trademark Refiled By Microsoft
Oh, Phantom Dust. The poor game has been through the wringer, having lost a developer in the last year, and supposedly being put on ice by Microsoft. It was a weird choice to remake in the first place, being such a small IP, but now that it has had a failed attempt to reboot, you'd think MS would call it a day.
Not so, it seems.
Microsoft have just filed for a trademark on the game again. This was spotted by DualShockers, and you can catch it in this picture below.
What this means is unclear. Is it showing production never died? Is it about to start up again? Or are Microsoft filing 'just in case'? We don't know. I have a gut feeling we haven't seen the last of this game yet though.
