Summer Games Done Quick Raises Over $1 Million For Charity
The 'Games Done Quick' organisation is becoming a real fan favourite. Many people tune in to see games being eviscerated by speedrunners and it's all in the name of charity, so it's for a good cause too.
Summer Games Done Quick has just come to a close and its viewers raised $1.2 million for the Doctors Without Borders charity. As pointed out by VG247, this total comes from 22,075 donators, meaning that on average, each paid $55. That is great going. (You can donate still by they way!)
I really hope the popularity of this event keeps up, because it is a great cause and it is always fascinating to see games played like this. See you at the next one!
