Monday night is here and it's time for The SML Podcast here on Bleeding Cool!

Another double episode this week with one dedicated interview episode and one episode of pure insanity!

Episode 155 of the show welcomes David D'Angelo of Yacht Club Games to discuss Shovel Knight! We talk the initial Kickstarter, living up to Kickstarter expectations, having a Shovel Knight amiibo, and the future of the game.

Plus we have Shovel Knight music this episode from the incredible Jake "virt" Kaufman, composer of the game and all around amazing person.

Check out the mp3 of the show HERE or check out the YouTube version! Make sure to hit up the YouTube version for all of the artist song credits and links to their pages!

Episode 156 is a monster as we welcome David Sterling of LOOT Interactive as well as Twitch streamer 1ceprime and his wife Ladybug Lauren!

We talk with David about the creation of LOOT Interactive, titles they've released including the amazing Electronic Super Joy, and what titles are on their way to the Xbox One (Q-Bert and Velocibox, btw). We also chat with 1ceprime about being a full time streamer and being a former game developer.

After we say goodbye and handle some email giveaways, it's time for this week's featured titles! Gone Home from The Fullbright Company and Midnight City is an enthralling title about coming home and exploring your empty house and discovering family secrets. BlazeRush on the PS4 from Targem Games is an isometric racer in the vein of RC Pro Am with awesome weapons and super satisfying events. Punch Club from Lazy Bear Games and tinyBuild is a fantastic resource management sim wrapped in pop culture references, fighting, and pixel awesoemness. Finally, The Banner Saga from Stoic and Versus Evil is an incredible story driven experience with a gorgeous retro hand drawn art style and turn based strategy battles. We even get an email from Uneaten Lake with his take on The Banner Saga as well!

This episode wraps up with songs from EnV, composer for Electronic Super Joy! You'll die a lot in the game, but at least you get to enjoy them sweet dance tunes.

Check out the mp3 of that show HERE or check out the YouTube Version!

Thanks for checking us out, hope to you next week, and as always, drop us a line at theSMLpodcast@gmail to be a part of the show and maybe get some goodies!

Joe Cammisa is an unemployed nerd who spends his time gaming, once again hosting The SML Podcast, and sharing pictures of his five cats on Facebook. Yeah, five. You can annoy him on Twitter [https://twitter.com/joecamnet] or on pretty much any gaming service under the name JoeCamNet. Be prepared to beat him in pretty much anything.
