Uncharted 4 Director Says That The Ending Will Be Hotly Debated
We've heard a lot about the Uncharted 4 ending. Things about it being an end of Drake's era, and that it will be a significant resolution for at least this part of the series. What we don't know though is what this means just yet as, obviously, word on specifics has been schtum.
Well, Uncharted 4 co-director Neil Druckmann has said that the ending of the game probably won't please everyone. Speaking to IGN on the conclusion he said:
I think people will discuss the ending. If focus tests are anything to go by, there will be some arguments about the ending. I'm excited. Indifference would be the worst thing. I would rather have people hate it than be indifferent to it. We'll see how they react.
When asked specifically if Drake dies, Druckmann said:
Do you really want me to tell you? You don't really want me to tell you.
Well, no, I suppose not.
