Watch The Important Missing Section From The End Of Metal Gear Solid V
So, there spoilers for the end of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain here, so if you don't to know any of that, begone from this place.
Right, everyone else still with me? Cool. So if you have reached the end of Chapter 2 of the game, you will notice there is a pretty big thread left hanging in the narrative, where Eli, who is Liquid Snake heads off Motherbase with (probably) Psycho Mantis and Sahelanthropus in tow and then…that is it. It is never resolved.
Well, here is what happened. This is on the bonus Blu-Ray disc for the PlayStation 4 version of the game. The video comes from YouTuber Inzaa by way of Kotaku. It explains that the kids are all on an island with the language parasite infecting everyone. I don't know why this scene was cut, but my guess was time concerns. I thought initially it might turn up later as DLC, but if it is on a bonus content disc? I dunno. It seems weird to spoil the ending.
