You'll Be Able To Earn Street Fighter V DLC In Game For Free
The proposition of DLC seems to be in flux a lot at the moment. From the Witcher 3 giving regular free content to the Arkham Knight charging $40 for its season pass, the valuation and delivery of post release content seems to be undecided at the moment.
Capcom have now added their hat into the ring with their own variation and it's quite interesting. As IGN point out, During a panel at EVO 2015, it was revealed you will be able to unlock post-release content, including new characters, in the game with out spending any money. They can be purchased with "Fight Money", which you earn in game.
This is a really neat idea. It remains to be seen how much of a time investment you will have to put in to get a character or something. At least the option for it to be earned is a great idea as it keeps your fanbase engaged. I'll be interested to see how this shakes out.
