Voice Actor Alludes to a Mortal Kombat Currently Being Made

While it's pretty much a safe bet to assume that WBIE and NetherRealm Studios are planning for a new Mortal Kombat game, we may have gotten proof of it on social media. A couple of Twitter posts are making the rounds today showing that Spanish-language voice actor José Eduardo Garza Escudero, AKA Lalo Garza, vented about losing out on a couple of voice-acting roles and gave away that he was trying out for the Spanish versions of Kung Lao and Reptile, pretty much confirming a new game on the way.

He went on to say that he doesn't know if it will be Mortal Kombat XI or some other project, but for those of us who know the timetable of releases when it comes to NeatherRealm switching between MK and Injustice titles, it's a safe assumption that MK11 is on the table. If the studio wants to make a splash and announce the game properly, they could do a trailer at one of the upcoming gaming awards coming in December. If not, we may not see anything announced for the series until E3 2019.
