A new Wolfenstein game was revealed at Bethesda's E3 2018 press conference. This one takes place in 1980, using that sweet 1980's aesthetic the kids are talking about, and stars the twin daughters of Wolfenstein protagonist BJ Blazkowicz taking up the fight against the Nazi regime.
This one tauts cooperative gameplay, as the two players take up the roles of the Blazkowicz daughters. The game is slated to come out in the spring of 2019.
This comes relatively soon after the release of Wolfenstein: New Colossus, which just came out at the end of 2017.
The Bethesda reps announced where you can play the game by saying you can "F*** Nazis on every platform." I dig that sentiment, and look forward to doing so if this game turns out to be as good as the trailer looks. That said no gameplay was shown in the trailer, which makes sense this early I suppose. It would have still been nice.
It's not clear whether this is a linear FPS or an open-world deal. There is a scene of one of the sisters hunting a deer, which implies some survival-type stuff, though that could just be for show.
Speaking of the trailer, we have graciously included it below for your viewing pleasure. Remember that Nazis are always the bad guys, and, boy, I really hope this game is good.
