7 Boring, Useless Screencaps From The New Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Trailer

Whenever a hot new movie trailer is released, all the websites in the entertainment media scramble to break it down into memorable screencaps in order to squeeze an extra article out of it. This is all well and good, and we're not saying that people shouldn't click on screencap articles – in fact, we published our own article featuring Mantis, Baby Groot, and 60+ Screencaps from the New Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer earlier tonight, and if what you're looking for are interesting screencaps from the trailer, then you should probably click on that one right now..

The problem is that, with so many websites making their own screencap articles, they're bound to get a little repetitive. If you've seen one imagedump of screencaps from a movie trailer, you've seen them all.

Here at Bleeding Cool, however, we've figured out a clever solution to this problem. By selecting the most boring and useless screencaps, we ensure that we're the only site that will feature these particular screencaps in their own article. It's totally unique content that you can only find right here at Bleeding Cool! Well, until all the other sites start ripping us off, because three articles out of a single movie trailer is better than two, after all.

Without further ado, here are seven boring, useless screencaps from the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer. Not the most boring and useless, mind you, because that in itself might be interesting. They are seven random, boring screencaps.

This screencap shows a timer with five minutes on it. It's actually part of a pretty funny scene in the trailer where Rocket Raccoon is attempting to explain to Baby Groot not to press a button that will set off the bomb and kill everyone. However, nothing about the clock itself is particularly interesting, which made it perfect for the first screencap on our list.

This screencap shows Star Lord's feet, and as if that weren't boring and useless enough, it is also out of focus. Had we waited just a second longer to take the screencap, we might have seen Star Lord taking off with his jet pack, ready to do battle against forces that threaten the universe. Alas, we did not, and so it is just a screencap of blurry feet.

This screencap catches the Marvel Studios logo in mid-transition. Everybody already knows that Marvel Studios makes Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, so there isn't really anything we can learn from this. Here it is anyway.

In this screencap, Drax is making a silly face. This is part of a scene at the end of the trailer that gives us our first look at Mantis, which would have been the screenshot to include if this were an article featuring exciting screenshots. It's not that kind of article though. This screenshot may actually may be a bit too exciting for this article, since Drax is clearly in focus and the face he's making is entertaining. We're sorry about that. We'll try to do better next time.

This screencap features the same timer as the first screencap, but with one less second on it. It is otherwise pretty much exactly the same as the previous screencap. We hope you haven't enjoyed either of them.

Here is another screencap of feet, which is also slightly out of focus.

In this screencap, Star Lord is the one making a silly face. Also of note, by which we mean not really of note at all because nothing in this article can really be considered "of note," is that you can see the back of Drax's head to the left in the foreground.
