Adam West's Final Turn As The Caped Crusader May Have A Release Date

Before his passing, Batman legend Adam West returned to the role that made him famous one last time and record the voice for the new Batman vs Two-Face animate movie. The sequel to Batman: The Return of the Caped Crusader features West along with his co-stars from the 1966 television series, Burt Ward as Robin and Julie Newmar as Catwoman.

Joining them for the first time is another legendary actor, William Shatner in the role of Two-Face. The character never appeared in the series, but Shatner would've been an inspired choice for him back in the '60s. Shatner and West had appeared together in a pilot/movie of Alexander the Great in 1963. It only took 54 years to get them together again.

Best Buy has posted the Blu-ray for the series as being available October 17th, along with the packaging art. It's not listed on Amazon nor has it yet been confirmed by Warner Bros.
