Streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon have become the biggest players at festivals such as Sundance. They are not only buying up tons of features and documentaries (at last count Netflix bought 10 films and Amazon bought five at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival) but they are also making their own original content to debut at these festivals. i>The Discovery is one of those movies that Netflix created and we now have the full trailer for the piece.
The Discovery is about a world where the afterlife has been scientifically proven to exist and million of people have committed suicide to get there. The movie will arrive on the streaming service on March 31, 2017 and stars Jason Segel, Rooney Mara, Riley Keough and Robert Redford.
