Benedict Cumberbatch Being Old Fashioned And Cheeky

First, sometimes you just have to appreciate it when someone does something old-school and I don't know how much more old-school you can get than announcing your engagement in the newspaper:

Congratulations to Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter. I wonder if she'll take his last name.

But that wasn't what this article is about. This one is more for fun as the guys at IGN.com interviewed Benedict Cumberbatch a few weeks before the Deadline story that he was a lock to play Doctor Strange. Now there is still no official announcement but there also has been zero new rumors floating about either. The hosts felt his answer to their question was a bit cheeky… it was definitely playful and non-commital unlike his response during Comic-Con when he said the schedules would not work.

The Doctor Strange movie is scheduled to open one year from yesterday. (Correction – 2 years from yesterday… that damn "New" math always off by 52)
