Can A Woman Direct Wonder Woman? Will She Be Given The Chance?

So yesterday's news about plans I'd been informed about, regarding the upcoming slate of Wonder Woman films, seem to have gone down pretty well. Though there are some quibbles, as to how the character won't age and hopes that Warners will hire someone of the female persuasion to direct the movie.

Well, as for how Wonder Woman wouldn't age significantly between the movie set in 1920 and the modern-day set Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Well…

…she's a god. Are you going to argue with her?

But as it stands, I understand that only male directors have been approached regarding directing the Wonder Woman movie.
