CBS Orders Supergirl To Series

Greg Berlanti seems to be the Superhero Whisperer as CBS has ordered his new series Supergirl to series. Berlanti is executive producing the series along with Andrew Kreisberg, Sarah Schechter and Ali Adler.

Melissa Benoist will star as Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin who possess all the same powers. The rest of the cast includes Calista Flockhart (Cat Grant) Mehcad Brooks (Jimmy Olsen), David Harewood (Hank Henshaw) and Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers.

The following photos were released of Benoist in costume around the time the pilot was filmed.
