DC-Loving Long Beach Mayor Blast Critics, Defends Zack Snyder In Self-Described Justice League Rant

Yesterday, Bleeding Cool reported on Marvel hating, DC loving mayor of Long Beach, California Robert Garcia, who is eternally loyal not only to his constituents, but also to his favorite superhero movie and comics universe. After seeing Justice League on opening night, Garcia left the theater hungry for more, calling on Warner Bros to release an Ultimate Edition director's cut even though the movie just hit theaters this weekend.

Garcia seemed to enjoy our report, and encouraged us to give him some more publicity with an additional clickbait article

Mr. Mayor, we're happy to oblige.

After seeing Justice League for the second time on opening meeting, Garcia wanted to break some things down for his Twitter followers.

As you can imagine, he loved it.

But Garcia thinks critics are unfair to director Zack Snyder, and also to Joss Whedon and Warner Bros.

But Garcia, envisioning a brighter tomorrow for both America and the DCEU, finished by tweeting:

Who could not vote for this guy?!

Justice League is in theaters now.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
