E3: Ghost Recon: Wildlands Reboots The Franchise With Open World Game

Ghost Recon has famously been a military shooter focused on war and soldiers. Well, Ubisoft have decided to reboot the franchise in a way that it looks nothing like it used to.

It was announced at the company's E3 press conference that the franchise's next instalment would be called Ghost Recon: Wildlands. This time the game will focus on an open world centred around drug lord hunting adventures and…other stuff.

I can't say this really grabbed me mostly because this seems very broad. I still don't quite get the trappings of the game here or what makes it unique. The White Hat conceit was nifty, but that was just the trailer. We will have to see what happens with this.
