The Flash Casts Sugar Lyn Beard As The Villain Hazard
If you're someone who like to look at set photos, then this won't comes as a surprise to you, but since we don't share set photos here on BC… Variety is reporting that The Flash has cast Sugar Lyn Beard as the DC comic villain Hazard.
The character of Hazard, also known as Rebecca Sharpe, is a character who first appeared in Infinity Inc #34 by Roy Thomas and Todd McFarlane. She is the granddaughter of another character, the Gambler, and eventually joined with the Injustice Society/ Injustice Unlimited. Hazard had a strict no kill policy. Her powers are luck based; she can manipulate probabilities to make someone have good or bad luck depending on what she wants.
Photos of Beard in the Hazard costume appeared about a week or so back, surprisingly accurate to the comics. She is set to appear in the third episode of the season. The character is described as being perpetually down-on-her-luck and is convinced she's cursed until a freak accident changes that, making her a threat to Central City. The Amazing Spiez and Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates actress joins a cast that includes newcomers Harley Sawyer, Neil Sandilands, Kim Engelbrect and Danny Trejo.
The Flash Season 4 debuts on October 10th on the CW.
