Gearbox Are Looking Into Frame Rate Issues In The Handsome Collection

When I went down to play Borderland's: The Handsome Collection at 2K's offices the other week, I noticed some significant frame rate and tearing issues in the game. It was never awful, but still not what you'd want from a next-gen remaster.

It seems the issue has persisted past launch too, but Gearbox have acknowledged the issue and say they are working on it. On their forums (via VideoGamer), community developer Joe King said:

Just wanted to pop in and ease everyone's minds a bit. The team is certainly aware of both the screen tear and FPS lag issues and are currently investigating them. Needless to say, things are quite busy and we appreciate everyone's continued patience!

I hope this is sorted out as there is a lot of potential here. A complete DLC collection of Boderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel in one box is a pretty good value proposition. They just have to sort out the nasty technical issues now and they Gearbox should be golden.
