"It Takes A Long Time. We're Working On It Right Now" Tom Hanks Talks Toy Story 4
When Tom Hanks was on the Graham Norton Show last week he revealed that they're working on a Toy Story 4 and that it will release in 2018. He also shared how hard it is to work on one of the films because of his character Woody's pre-disposition to tightened frustrating statements.
During the interview he casually said:
"I have a recording session on December 2nd…"
To which Graham Norton commented on the audiences excited reaction. Tom continued:
"…Somebody stuck a microphone in my face one day and said, 'Is there going to be a 'Toy Story 4'?' and I said, 'Yeah, yeah, I think so.' And I got a call from the Disney lawyers the next day who said, 'You are contractually not allowed to discuss a 'Toy Story 4' or it'll affect the stock market price of the Disney comic stock.' and I just said, 'Hey, I'm sorry…but let me just point out I'm Woody pal.'"
This is pretty exciting news for fans of the wildly entertaining series. I have to wonder what the storyline will follow, and if it will be just as good as the first three. I feel like the Toy Story series has already been pretty lucky with how successful their movies and short films have been thus far. Hopefully this one will continue the legacy.
