With one movie left in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, fans have been wondering if we might finally Vance Astro from the original Guardians of the Galaxy comic book series. At Hascon, Gunn dropped some disappointing news.

"No Vance Astro for you!" Gunn told Hascon attendees.

Gunn was asked about the chances of the character appearing in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and he was quick to reply:

So he's saying there's a chance?

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will hit theaters in 2020.
