Jordan Peele Has High Hopes for His Next Untitled Film
Actor, comedian, and filmmaker Jordan Peele recently suggested that his next untitled film has the potential to be his best work to date.
From comedy to horror, Jordan Peele has proven he knows what he's doing. And it could even be argued that the filmmaker is only getting better with each film, leaving fans instantly intrigued about the next era of Peele's career. So naturally, that film is shrouded in secrecy because experiencing a cinematic mystery in real time is always the better option for moviegoers.
Jordan Peele Suggests That His Next Film Could Be His Best Work Yet
When making an appearance on the Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend podcast, the actor, comedian, and more recently, talented filmmaker reflected on the past year and his anticipation about the future, with Peele explaining, "This has been… obviously, it's been an interesting year because the writer's strike had had me in a state of listening, and that's where I need to be." Peele then went on to suggest that his next film might be his best work to date, adding, "I do feel like my next [currently untitled project] is clear to me, and I'm psyched that I have another film that, you know, could be my favorite movie if I make it right."
At the time that the film was initially announced via Deadline, the site reported, "Jordan Peele won't have one but two movies coming out in 2024: an untitled horror thriller on September 27 from his Monkeypaw Productions, and another coming out on Christmas Day that year. To be more specific, while the former is from his production company, the latter is being directed by the Oscar winner."
Obviously, there isn't any official word on the film's premise, genre, title, cast, or just about anything. Still, given what we know, we can anticipate that it might have some eerie horror genre potential, given his previous work on Get Out, Us, and Nope. But who knows… Maybe we'll be getting something entirely different to keep fans guessing! Thoughts?
