Justice League: Time To Kick Off Wonder Woman And Cyborg Week
Justice League is less than a month away, so it's time for even more marketing. This time, the movie decided to kick off another themed week — and Wonder Woman has to share the limelight with Cyborg.
So it's time to learn a bit more about this version of Cyborg, played by Ray Fisher, and AT&T has been making these "all in" videos for all of the characters so far.
Here is the full interview with Fisher for AT&T. We can confirm that Cyborg was indeed created by combining a human and "alien technology", or the Mother Boxes. Does this mean that Cyborg has to die to get the Mother Box back? That raises the stakes for the character, at least.
Cyborg is still a character who really only seems to look good maybe half of the time. The problem is that the human side of his face looks so fake sometimes that it kind of ruins the point of the character. That human side grounds him to the audience and reminds us that he's just one of us. It's why one of his eyes being human is so essential, because eyes are such an easy way to see into the human condition. But Cyborg's human eye looks just as dead and fake as his robot eye. It might make the character hard to connect with.
AT&T has done a couple of these little first looks, including one for The Flash, Aquaman, and the Justice League in general.
Summary: Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.
Justice League, directed by Zack Snyder, stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, and Henry Cavill. It will be released on November 17th.
