Man Finds Rocks Inside PlayStation 4 Box
PlayStation Network wasn't the only rocky thing this holiday season. That is a god-awful pun and you'll see why in a minute.
This Christmas, Denver man Igor Baksht bought a PlayStation 4 for his niece and instead of finding a console in the correctly labelled box, he found two packages of rocks instead. 7News Denver report that he wasn't able to bring the 'product' back until Saturday due to the Walmart he bought it from being closed for Christmas.
Initially the store wouldn't give him his money back and even 7News were sceptical of the man's story. They were swayed however when they found out that this isn't the first time this has happened, with similar cases being reported in the past.
Baksht stated that:
I never stole anything in my life. The most criminal thing that I've did, I got a driving ticket.
Baksht said that even the store clerk noted the weight of the PlayStation seemed heavy when he paid for the console, but no one decided to check in the box at that point.
Eventually Walmart gave him his money back and said that while they couldn't confirm the story, they gave Baksht the benefit of the doubt.
So the moral of the story? If you buy a games console and it's heavy like rocks, just take a peak. You never know. It might be rocks.
