Marion Cotillard Joins The Assassin's Creed Movie Which Is Shooting Soon
The Assassin's Creed movie is really starting to shape up quite well. I think things are looking quite promising for the production and it could finally buck the trend of awful video game movie adaptions.
Michael Fassbender's involvement has been well publicized for a while now, but the cast has now grown adding an important second actor to the production. Deadline have revealed the Marion Cotillard will be joining the cast in a yet unspecified role. She is osigned on fr multiple movies if the first film proves to be popular, which I think is a full gone conclusion baring anything disastrous. When the production is attracting talent like Cotillard and Fassbender though, I have to believe there is something worthwhile pulling them in.
On top of that,earlier this week, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemont confirmed in an investor call that production on the movie had started and that it would begin shooting soon.
Film Divider gave the first supposed details about the movie a few months back, outlining that the film would likely take place during the Spanish Inquisition and would take place alongside the current Assassin's Creed timeline. That story was written by…oh. Now this is embarassing…
