Mark Ruffalo Wants Cate Blanchett To Be In Thor: Ragnarok

There has been rumors of Cate Blanchett being up for a role in Thor: Ragnarok but what that role is remains a mystery… but thanks to Mark Ruffalo we might be able to narrow it down a bit. In an interview with ET at the BAFTA Awards Season Tea Party Ruffalo was asked about being at the event with Blanchett and her being a possible co-star in the next Thor movie. Ruffalo says he ran into her already and pleaded with her to take the role and how excited he would be for her to play a "baddie".

Well, you think beautiful blond Thor villains the first name on most people's list would be the Enchantress. After Loki, Enchantress is probably one of the more popular Thor villains along with her often companion The Executioner. It would make a lot of sense in a film based on Ragnarok (the Norse version of End of Days) to include more Asgardian villains.

Thor: Ragnarok will be in theaters July 28, 2017.
