Doctor Who Star Matt Smith Open To Marvel Cinematic Universe Role If Stars Align
Provided it was the right role, and provided they asked him to play it, and provided it's different than anything he's ever done before, Doctor Who star Matt Smith would be willing to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The shocking news comes via an interview with ComicBook.com, where Smith revealed the secret to bringing him into the MCU.
"I'd love to," Smith said of the prospect. "They've got ask me though, the swines. But it would have to be the right project."
For someone who hasn't even been offered a role, Smith seems rather picky, now that we think about it.
"It would have to be something that felt different enough to Doctor Who," he revealed, continuing build a list of increasingly more unreasonable demands. However, as long as the role is absolutely perfect and Marvel asks him very nicely, he'd certainly consider it. "I love so many of those movies and I love Nebula, because Karen's blue. With no hair. Anyway, I'd love to… If you're listening, Marvel."
Well, what are you waiting for, Marvel? Sounds like Smith is ready to go, provided the conditions are absolutely perfect. But wait! Before you reach out to him, you'll probably want to know all of conditions for the phone call, won't you? We'll look into it and get back to you soon.
