Mondo Has a Bunch of Awesome Hitchcock Posters for Sale Today
Mondo's big poster release for the week is a series of Alfred Hitchcock posters by artists Adam Simpson and Stephan Schmitz. Four posters will be available in total, and boy are they spiffy. Psycho, Rear Window, and two different versions of Vertigo will be available to purchase on the Mondo website at some point today. Make sure to follow their Twitter so you get an instant notification when they go live.
Psycho by Adam Simpson. 24"x36" screen print. Hand numbered. Edition of 275. Printed by D&L Screenprinting. Expected to Ship April 2018. $50
Following up on his longstanding Hitchcock series, Adam Simpson has delivered likely our favorite entry of his yet with PSYCHO. Condensing the iconic film into a series of collected vignettes, Adam's work here is elegant, streamlined and as unsettling as it is beautiful.
Joining Adam's poster are a pair from artist Stephan Schmitz for REAR WINDOW and VERTIGO. We've been fans of Stephan's work for a while and are super excited to finally have been able to collaborate on two great projects together. As soon as sketches came in for REAR WINDOW, it wasn't long before we asked if he had interest in tackling VERTIGO alongside it. His illustration work is incredibly clean and smart and we can't wait for the next one.
Rear Window by Stephan Schmitz. 18"x24" screen print. Hand numbered. Edition of 225. Printed by D&L Screenprinting. Expected to Ship April 2018. $45
Vertigo Shadow by Stephan Schmitz. 18"x24" screen print. Hand numbered. Edition of 225. Printed by D&L Screenprinting. Expected to Ship April 2018. $45
Vertigo Chair by Stephan Schmitz. 18"x24" screen print. Hand numbered. Edition of 225. Printed by D&L Screenprinting. Expected to Ship April 2018. $45
All four of these are breathtaking. As cool as they are however, it is hard to top that Psycho one. Just looking at the poster tells the whole story of the film, and detailed art is magnificent. I would proudly pop that up on my wall.
Again- all four will up for sale today here.
