The Nerd Dome Podcast 124 – Ready Player One: Yay or Nay?
When I'm not infuriating everyone in our comment sections here, I'm on a podcast with a bunch of my close friends out here in Salt Lake City, Utah. Every week, we get together and talk about the nerd news that has happened over the week, comics, and a topic for the latter half. We are a NSFW podcast, and all of our opinions are our own. Nerd Dome Podcast Episode 124 – **SPOILERS** Ready Player One Review **SPOILERS**
We had to take a week off because of recording issues, but the podcast is back with a skeleton crew to talk about Ready Player One. We have Sam, who read the book but wasn't crazy about the movie; we have Ryan, who read the book and loved the movie; and then there's Kaitlyn, who hasn't read the book and thought the movie was pretty good. We get into the various spoilers while also comparing and contrasting the book to the movie when it comes to adaptation.
We also covered some of the news this week including the Captain Marvel cast list, a warning for anyone looking to avoid Avengers: Infinity War spoilers, and Solo: A Star Wars Story premiering at the Cannes Film Festival.
