New Events And More Coming To Hong Kong Disneyland In 2018!
With a huge park expansion that will take a few years to complete, Hong Kong Disneyland has announced some new attractions that will be joining the park in 2018! Some of the additions will be open by the end of 2017, giving the park a head start for the new year.
The Royal Princess Garden will open in December of 2017, and will be the main area for the princess meet and greets. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will also be here.
2018 will be the year of the dog, according to the Chinese calendar. Despite the above image, Pluto will actually be the dog who will be the featured during the in park celebrations. HKDLR will also be decorated in red and gold, Mickey and pals will be dressed in traditional Chinese wear, and the parks and resorts will feature special New Year's food as well!
For spring, it looks like HKDLR will get the same Easter eggs the American parks get, for a springtime egg hunt! HKDR's Spring Time festival will offer unique and fun character interactions, and more.
Fans of Moana will get a new show called Moana: A Homecoming Celebration. The show will be on the new Adventureland outdoor stage, and will be a retelling of the Moana movie.
Just in time for The Incredibles 2 release next summer, HKDLR will be getting some incredible new character meet-and-greets between June and August.
Halloween time will be huge in HKDLR this year. From September to October, guests will be able to meet Jack Skellington, as well as a ton of Disney villains!
Between November and January, guests can enjoy Christmas festivities such as a special daytime show, carolers, and a tree-lighting ceremony.
More information will become available throughout the year for each event. If you're heading to Hong Kong Disney, have fun!
