'Shot Caller' Sends Game Of Thrones' Nicolaj Coster-Waldau To Prison

In what looks to be an extremely intense movie from filmmaker Ric Roman Waugh, we have the first trailer for Shot Caller. Nicolaj Coster-Waldau, best known for his role as Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones, plays a man sent to prison after killing someone while drinking and driving. He learns quickly that you can become a victim or a shot caller.

The film shows how the American prison system can turn a successful businessman into a prison yard gangster, adapting to the violent code of ethics the inmates live by. The film also stars Jeffrey Donovan (Burn Notice), Jon Bernthal (The Punisher), Benjamin Bratt (Doctor Strange), Lake Bell (Children's Hospital) and Omar Hardwick (Power).

Shot Caller opens July 20th.
