The previous era of the DC Universe has come to an end, so all eyes are focusing on what is ahead. While there are plenty of excellent television shows to talk about, many people are focusing on Superman: Legacy, the first film in the new DC Universe, which will be written and directed by James Gunn. There is an entire group of people who believe there hasn't been a good Superman movie in their lifetime, so to say that expectations are high would be an understatement.  We also talk about building a strong foundation when starting a cinematic universe, and Superman: Legacy is a crucial piece of that foundation, so it needs to be strong. Rachel Brosnahan has been doing the rounds on carpets for awards season and the final season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, but she can't take two steps down a red carpet without someone asking her about Lois Lane and Entertainment Tonight was the latest at the Critics Choice Awards.

"I've really enjoyed the collaboration with James Gunn so far," Brosnahan said. "Every single person involved with this production is such a perfect nerd for Superman. We all grew up watching the movies, some of us grew up reading the comics. I feel like it's being made with so much love, and I think this Superman will have a sense of humor. I'm rolling through my brain all the things I'm not allowed to say. But we're excited to both put our spin on things and also honor this material that we all love so much." When asked for three adjectives to describe her Lois Lane in Superman: Legacy, Brosnahan replied, "'Fiesty,' dare I say 'marvelous," and 'fiercely intelligent.'"
