Rachel Crow In Talks For Key Role In 'Bumblebee' Spinoff
It looks like we might have another cast member for the Bumblebee spinoff movie, according to The Tracking Board. Rachel Crow from the Netflix movie Deidra & Laney Rob a Train is in talks for a key role in the spinoff movie. Thus far the confirmed cast members for the movie include Hailee Steinfeld and Jorge Lendeborg Jr, and the film will be directed by Travis Knight.
The Bumblebee movie will the first of what is promised to be a Transformers cinematic universe, which has grossed nearly $4 billion dollars.
Bumblebee is slated for a June 8th, 2018 release date and is rumored to take place in the 1980s. As far as plot goes we know almost nothing about this movie. Transformers: The Last Knight has been critically panned and isn't doing as well as previous entries into the series. The hope is that a visionary director like Travis Knight will be able to make something new and interesting out of a series that has been stumbling from the first movie.
