Hip hop artist Richie Branson writes;

Back in the day, Toonami was one of the biggest influences on my anime cartoon fandom, as well as the fandom of many other people. When Cartoon Network's Adult Swim teased us on April 1st with an april fool's joke re-airing of Toonami's Midnight Run, I felt the need to take action. Here is the world's first rap song dedicated to bringing back Toonami:
