Route 29 Batman Is Killed, As Car Collides With His Batmobile

Lenny B. Robinson dressed as Batman to visit sick children in Montgomery County, Maryland. where he drove while dressed as the character in his "Batmobile", gaining him the nickname Route 29 Batman.

Yesterday, after driving his Lamborghini along Interstate 70, remodelled to resemble a Batmobile, he was hit by another vehicle, killing the 51 year old Robinson.

Reports indicate that his vehicle experienced mechanical problems, but when he pulled into the eastbound fast lane to address them, his car was hit by the other vehicle, slamming into him. Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Our thoughts are with his friends, family and all the children who he entertained.
