Scorpion And NCIS: Los Angeles Crossover A Few Weeks Before Planned

scorpion-embedWe know that in the upcoming Halloween episode of Scorpion, Linda Hunt will be bringing NCIS: Los Angeles character Henrietta "Hetty" Lange to deal with Walter O'Brien's (Elyes Gabel) crew. But an inadvertent crossover happened last night.

At 9:30 PM on the west coast, while in the middle of airing the second episode of the freshman series, the CBS stations on the west coast started broadcasting the season premier of NCIS: Los Angeles. It ran for about two minutes before the switch back happened.

I was watching live at the time, story wise the character of Sylvester Dodd (Ari Stidham) was memorizing files in a storage room when the glitch happened and we returned to find him very uncomfortably hiding in a bio-lab (which he fears) and security looking for him. Not sure how important those two minutes were to the show… but I get the feeling there will be a lot of people who recorded the episode will be blaming their faulty DVR's today… like my parents.
