Scott Derrickson Shares The Rating He Hopes Doctor Strange Gets

strangehandsScott Derrickson may be getting a little punchy. The director of the next Marvel film / franchise, Doctor Strange, was having fun on Twitter last yesterday and answered fans questions including which MCU movie is his favorite… Guardians of the Galaxy was his answer.

But he also posted this odd looking tweet.

Looking at it closely, what Derrickson has done is made up his own rating for his movie. "Rated PG-13 for Kaleidoscopic Galactic Intensity and Other-Dimensional Psychotropic Violence." Now the MPAA won't rate the film until it's much closer to release… but if they did use that specific rating, it would be one of the best rating cards in film history.

Doctor Strange, which starts Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton, Benedict Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Mads Mikkelsen opens November 4th.
