Steve Harvey's Funderdome Hacked By The Dark Overlord – Releases 8 Episodes Online
As brazen as ever, the hacker who calls themself The Dark Overlord had threatened on Friday that they might be releasing some of ABC's content. Questions swirled if this was a bluff (as the threat sent to Disney about releasing one of their feature films had turned out to be), or if it was for real. Well, now we know that this time it wasn't a bluff – this evening the hacker claims to have released eight unaired episodes of Steve Harvey's Funderdome out to The Pirate Bay.
Along with the uploads, the hacker wrote:
Hello, this is thedarkoverlord (@tdohack3r) here to deliver a message.
Time to play another round. We're following through on our threats as we always do. We firmly believe that honesty and determination are the two most important factors of any business.
If you prefer your meat bloody, we're serving it bloody as can be: We're bringing another piece from from the world of unaired mainstream media content: ABC's "Steve Harvey's Funderdome".
Your friends,

We aren't ones to torrent files to begin with, but especially ones as dubious as these so we haven't yet been able to confirm that they are as claimed, but given the loss of face to upload a set of bogus files wouldn't be worth it. If it was claimed to be some Game of Thrones files, that would have people clamoring to download them regardless of the risk of malware infection.
Overlord was the same hacker who had previously released the bulk of Netflix's fifth season of Orange is the New Black. The Steve Harvey and Mark Burnett produced Funderdome isn't slated to premiere until June 11th. Being the middle of the night, Disney hasn't yet weighed in on the leak.
The hacker's previously released content has been traced back to a network breach of a post-production facility in Hollywood, Larson Studios. The hacker has been variously demanding ransoms in bitcoin from both Larson as well as the parent studios.
While Funderdome likely wasn't high on the list of "most-wanted" shows on torrent sites, however there was plenty of other content potentially harvested from Larson, including feature films as well as television series from CBS, Fox, ABC, and NBC.
