Thor Wields Mjolnir In Avengers: Age Of Ultron Set Video
There's a lot to dissect and speculate about in a new video captured by Cinema Blend from the set of The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Joss Whedon and his cast are filming on a college campus in the UK at the moment, so they probably anticipated these kinds of leaks. Here, we see some "Avengers Recruits" jogging/training, apparently at the new Avengers Towers headquarters, as Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) stroll by in conversation. When they stop, Thor thrusts Mjolnir into the sky and presumably takes off somewhere.
Cinema Blend speculates this could mean Thor is reluctant to rejoin the Avengers this time around, having just retired – of sorts – from his Asgardian duties and settled down to a human life with Jane Foster (Natalie Portman, who we haven't heard about reprising her role here). But I'm betting Ultron will be a big enough foe that he won't have much of a choice in coming back, even if he does try to leave in the scene shown here.
