Watch 90 Blood-Splattering Minutes Of Dying Light

Just before Christmas, Techland took to Twitch to play 90 unbroken minutes of their upcoming title Dying Light. The game is set during a zombie apocalypse and you try to survive in the open world by free running and building new weapons to splat zombie heads. Think Mirrors Edge meets Dead Island and you are pretty close.

You can check out that footage now as it has finally been archived. Techland obviously have a fair bit of confidence in the game to put it out there for 90 uninterrupted minutes, so do take a peek.

I've had my hands on Dying Light. I have to say…I didn't love the build that I played. It's based off of the two concepts I think the first person perspective really struggles with, melee and free running. I wasn't quite convinced that Techland had figured out a revolutionary new way of packaging them either. I'd love to see a great game though and this footage did seem smoother than what I played. Here's hoping.
