Zachary Levi Shares a First Look at the Shazam! Costume
If there is one thing fans can't wait to see when it comes to their superhero movies it's the costumes. Shazam! is yet another costume reveal that was spoiled by someone taking pictures of the set and people have been asking for a more official look for weeks now. Director David F. Sandberg declined to say when the reveal was going to be but star Zachary Levi took to instagram to show off a piece of artwork that shows us a bit more of the costume.
The light up lightning bolt looks really neat and the behind-the-scenes footage we saw at CinemaCon last month also had that lit up. It's a neat little thing. As for Levi he looks like a complete dork which is on character for this hero. Billy isn't an adult, he's a kid, and Levi really does look like he's channeling a "kid in an adult body" look.
Summary: A boy is given the ability to become an adult superhero in times of need with a single magic word.
Shazam!, directed by David F. Sandberg, stars Zachary Levi, Mark Strong, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Asher Angel, and will be written by Henry Gayden and Darren Lemke. It will be released on April 5th, 2019.
