I'm a huge fan of leggings and yoga pants. I worked in a gym for 10 years, and now that I work largely from home, I still wear them. They're comfortable, durable, and oh man, let me tell you about that sweet range of motion I get in them. Heck yeah, being able to squat whenever I want! So naturally, because I'm such a fan of leggings, I've heard of Lularoe. My closest friends and fellow gym rats swear by the brand, which offers fun and unique designs. I've always been wary of them, especially after earlier this year when it was shown that the leggings are in fact a hot mess and fall apart super easily.
Despite all of the backlash against the company, Disney partnered with them anyway to bring the world some cute (and some not-so-cute) designs.
I'd probably buy the Minnie Mouse shirt, but then there lies the other thing. Lularoe is not sold at stores, but through "independent fashion retailers", similar to Mary Kay or Avon. I'm very old-school and prefer to try my clothing on before I buy it; but in this case you would be purchasing the item, and hoping your sales lady is cool enough to do an exchange if it doesn't work. I'm not a fan of mid-level marketing, but I can see the appeal for some people.
The clothing items will range from $20-40, which isn't crazy expensive, but when you can buy a durable pair of leggings from Target for $8…
