SDCC '15: Is Geoff Johns Co-Writing A Batman Movie With Ben Affleck?

geoff_johns_576Deadline is reporting that the stand-alone Batman film that is rumored to be directed by Ben Affleck (and starred in), will also be co-written by the multi-talented actor/director/writer with none other than DC Entertainment's chief creative officer Geoff Johns. Before comics Johns worked with film legend Richard Donner and has been closely involved with the television and movie aspects of the Warner Bros / DC characters.

Reports say the two are working well together and are likely to turn in a draft of the script by the end of summer before Affleck moves on to direct his next project, Live By Night. He is then expected to start up on the Batman film once Live By Night is complete.

We hope to hear more about this over the weekend.
