Summer Moon: The Quprids is a high school fantasy webtoon that follows the adventures of five "magical girls," inspired by the members of ILLIT. Reflecting the group's signature youthful energy and confident spirit, the series has received enthusiastic responses from readers and ILLIT fans since its Korean launch on August 4. It quickly rose to No. 3 on NAVER Webtoon's trending chart, sparking global fan requests for officially translated versions.

ILLIT, consisting of five members — Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Ironha —is the first girl group from BELIFT LAB, formed through the survival show R U Next? in 2023. The name 'ILLIT' is the combination of the phrase 'I will,' representing an independent spirit and an adventurous will, and the pronoun 'It,' which stands to symbolize 'something unique.' The name highlights the five-piece act's potential for infinite possibilities and the anticipation for what the future holds. Continuing their unprecedented upward trajectory as the standout rookies of the year in K-pop, ILLIT scored their first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 just 22 days after the release of their debut album SUPER REAL ME, the album's lead single "Magnetic" reaching No. 91 on the chart.

"The strong support from readers prompted a swift global rollout," stated HYBE. "We believe the success of previous HYBE original stories—including the Dark Moon series, which surpassed 200 million views worldwide—has fueled anticipation for Summer Moon: The Quprids. We will continue to leverage the synergy between our artists and our content expertise to deliver immersive, story-driven entertainment experiences."
