Pet Sematary is in theaters now, and if Stephen King had his say, it would have a much different ending. The author spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the book and new adaptation, and reveals that he had a different ending in mind. One that turns out, may have ended things on a more hopeful note […]
Pet Sematary opens in theaters this Friday, and directors Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer have been making the press rounds talking about the Stephen King adaptation and some of the interesting changes they made for this version. Specifically the twist revealed in the trailers for the film that changes something big about the story. […]
Pet Sematary held its premiere at SXSW last night, and the first reactions are pouring out from the screening. From the looks of things, we seem to have another great Stephen King adaptation on ours hands. There have been a lot of great Stephen King adaptations lately, but PET SEMATARY feels the most perfectly, specifically […]
Pet Sematary is a thrill ride that is bound to chill audiences to their bone. Closing the last night of the SXSW (South by Southwest) Film Festival, the film premier brought audiences to their feet in a well-deserved standing ovation. It's bloody, it's scary and brilliantly acted. However, we shouldn't overhype this too much. While […]
Pet Sematary is holding its premiere tonight at SXSW, and ahead of time a ton of new images from the Stephen King adaptation have appeared online. The film looks incredibly dark and creepy, not unlike the story it draws its inspiration from. This has always been one of King's best works, and fan's have been […]

An ironically-named title, Serenity is not what Matthew McConaughey experiences when he discovers there's far more going on than he realizes on Plymouth Island. Not to be confused with the Joss Whedon 2005 sci-fi film of the same name, Academy Award winner McConaughey stars as Baker Dill, a fishing boat captain offering tours of the […]
Pet Sematary is hitting theaters on April 5th next year, and today we have our first look at the remake courtesy of Entertainment Weekly. This is the second big screen version of the 1982 book by Stephen King, with the original hitting theaters back in 1989. King's books are all the rage again all over […]
Just when you thought it was safe to deal with mangy cats and small children with scalpels, Director Dennis Widmyer took to social media on Monday to tweet that he and co-director Kevin Kolsch have officially started filming their adaptation of Stephen King's beloved horror novel Pet Sematary. Produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian, and […]
Opening wide today — though it premiered exclusively in IMAX 3D last week — Everest is a solid enough, if somewhat shallow, look at the 1996 Everest disaster which claimed eight lives. Instead of focusing on the spectacle, the film follows some of the people caught in one of the worst blizzards ever encountered on […]
Paramount has released part of the runaway bus scene from the upcoming Terminator: Genisys. Here we see Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) driving a bus on a bridge with no brakes as the police are setting up a roadblock. Following them is the Guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger) in a cop car. In the back of the bus Kyle […]
Universal has pulled together Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Robin Wright, Emily Watson, Michael Kelly, Keira Knightly, Sam Worthington and Jake Gyllenhaal to tell the true story of two different expeditions to the top of Mount Everest during one of the fiercest snowstorms ever encountered by man. Everest will be released in the US […]
Entertainment Weekly has shared their covers for their upcoming issue that feature the stars of the upcoming film Terminator Genisys (which will take me forever to get used to spelling). Cover one features Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) as Sarah Connors and Jai Courtney (Divergent) as Kyle Reese. Cover two has Jason Clarke (Dawn Of […]
We just got sent the Theater Featurette for Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes that's being hosted by Fandango.com. In the piece director Matt Reeves and actors Jason Clarke, Keri Russell and Andy Serkis talk about the underlying specter of war that runs through the movie.
Very little apes, a lot of behind the scenes looks at the actors all decked out in their mo-cap suits acting like apes.
I knew that casting for supporting roles on the new Terminator movie was underway but hadn't been able to conjure up a breakdown myself. It looks like Moviehole were able to secure one, however, as they've listed a number of characters from the original movie that will be reappearing in this next instalment. It's quite […]
They won't be trying to sell the new Terminator movie on the strength of its leading man, I shouldn't expect.
This looks pretty serious. That's a good thing: humour obviously played a crucial part where it crept in along the way, but serious intent was crucial to all of the previous Ape films.
Filming begins in January, and I think this is off to a very solid start.
Is this horse play or monkey business?
