AEW Reveals Brackets for Full Gear World Title Eliminator Tournament

Greetings, comrades! It is I, your El Presidente, with some big AEW news. Just before AEW Dynamite went off the air on Saturday Night, the company dropped a bombshell, revealing the brackets for the World Title Eliminator Tournament that starts on Friday on AEW Rampage. Eight AEW wrestlers will compete in the tournament, with the winner earning a shot at AEW Champion Kenny Omega. The final match in the tournament will take place at the Full Gear PPV in November.

In a perfect society, comrades, everything would be equal, from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs. But society is not perfect, comrades, and neither is the AEW roster, and there are some obvious winners in these tournament brackets. Jon Moxley seems likely to defeat The Dark Order's 10 in the opening round match, and Bryan Danielson also seems likely to win his match against Dustin Rhodes. In the other first-round matches, Orange Cassidy vs. Powerhouse Hobbes and Lance Archer vs. Eddie Kingston, the results could go either way, but regardless of what happens, Moxley and Danielson will probably win their second-round matches and go on to the finals at Full Gear. And I'm not just saying that because of those spoilers Tony Khan "accidentally" revealed in that photo last week, comrades. Haw haw haw haw!

Predicting the ultimate winner of the tournament is another story. Hangman Page will face Kenny Omega at Full Gear or the AEW Championship, and if there was ever a time for AEW to pull the trigger on Hangman's title win, it would be in that match. So instead of thinking of the winner of this tournament as the next opponent for Kenny Omega, it seems likely that they will be cashing in that title shot against Hangman Page. And with Jon Moxley acting more heelish lately, he seems like the best bet for a winner.

But that's all speculation, comrades. We'll see what happens when the tournament begins on AEW Rampage on Friday and continues on Saturday Night Dynamite.

El PresidenteAbout El Presidente

After a successful fourteen-year career as a South American dictator, El Presidente faked his own death in 2013 in order to pursue his two true passions: rigging American elections for Joe Biden, and wrestling dirt sheet reporting. Since opportunities to rig the election for Joe Biden were few and far between until recently, El Presidente mostly focused on the wrestling dirt sheet reporting, where he became one of the best in the business. Unfortunately, the American CIA sabotaged his 1-900 hotline, the pinnacle of his country's wrestling news technology, and imperialist hacks like Meltzer, Johnson, Sapp, and Satin took all the credit on their stupid websites. Finally, El Presidente has found a way to break into the American market by becoming a Bleeding Cool contributor, so get ready for the spread of great wrestling news and socialism, comrades!
