DC's Legends of Tomorrow to the Rescue in S06E01 Preview Images

How's that for timing? Only a few hours after we checked in with DC's Legends of Tomorrow director Nico Sachse to get some cool clues to what viewers can expect from S06E13 "Silence of the Sonograms" (written by Phil Klemmer & Morgan Faust– with Caity Lotz's Sara possibly meeting her match in a fight and Dominic Purcell's Mick involved in a "big event"), The CW offered viewers the second thing they've been waiting for (with the trailer below being the first). With their fearless leader captured by some really pesky aliens, our Legends are going to have to battle through time to not only get her back but also save the timestream from some nefarious alien plans- and as you're about to see from the following preview images for season-opener "Ground Control to Sara Lance" (Directed by Kevin Mock; Written by James Eagan & Mark Bruner), it's going to be one of those all-hands-on-deck-type missions.

Lisseth Chavez (Chicago P.D., The OA) joins the long-running series in the series regular role of Esperanza "Spooner" Cruz. Tough and self-sufficient, Cruz is a tech whiz when it comes to detecting space aliens and providing defenses from them. Having survived a childhood encounter with an alien, Cruz now believes she can communicate telepathically with aliens. Aliyah O'Brien (Take Two, You Me Her) has been tapped for the recurring role of fearsome warrior Kayla. Known for her high body count and low patience for human incompetence, Kayla will be put through her paces working with and against our Legends as she's certainly not used to messing anything up much less for the better.
