Inner Circle to Hold Pep Rally on AEW Dynamite This Week

Chris Jericho and the Inner Circle will hold a pep rally on AEW Dynamite this week in an attempt to raise their morale after a devastating loss in the Stadium Stampede match at Double or Nothing. The Inner Circle pep rally joins an appearance by Mike Tyson in what's looking like a star-studded post-PPV episode of Dynamite. AEW announced the segment for Dynamite on Twitter, writing, "It's the #InnerCircle pep rally this Wednesday on Dynamite! Watch #AEWDynamite this Wednesday night on @TNTDrama 8e/7c Also, watch the Double or Nothing reply NOW on all major cable & satellite providers / @BRLive / @FITETV (Intl Fans Only) #AEWDoN"

After the Stadium Stampede match, the question has to be asked: where does the Inner Circle go from here? Jericho lost his AEW Championship to Jon Moxley at Revolution and now the Inner Circle has lost their big match with The Elite. Jake Hager also lost his title match against Moxley on Dynamite a few weeks ago, and the rest of the stable have less than stellar win/loss records. Santana and Ortiz have more losses than wins in 2019, with zero wins as a tag team. Guevara is at least slightly ahead with an overall 9-8 record, though he's 6-6 in singles competition.

If the stable is going to stick together, they probably need to win their next big feud. What's unclear is whether the Inner Circle will be moving on to new opponents, or whether they will continue to battle The Elite after Stadium Stampede. Originally, the two factions were meant to face off at the more serious Blood and Guts match, but the coronavirus pandemic scuttled those plans. Stadium Stampede could have served as the blow-off for the Inner Circle vs. Elite feud. But who would the Inner Circle go after next? Perhaps we'll find out during the pep rally segment on AEW Dynamite this week.
