Into the Dark Valentine's Episode 'Down' Debuts on Hulu Next Week
Into the Dark, the year long holiday horror anthology series from Blumhouse and Hulu, will debut their Valentine's Day episode Down next Friday, February 1st. The episode will star Natalie Martinez , Matt Lauria, Arnie Pantoja, Diane Sellers and Christina Leone. The episode is written by Kent Kubena and directed by Daniel Stamm. The trailer for the episode is now online, you can check it out below:
A pair of office workers get trapped in an elevator over a long Valentine's Day weekend, but what at first promises to be a romantic connection turns dangerous and horrifying in this Blumhouse mash-up of rom-com and horror film genres.
So far the series has been pretty strong. The Halloween episode The Body was great, the Thanksgiving set Flesh and Blood was solid, and New Year's episode New Year, New You was a pleasant surprise. The only misstep so far was Pooka!, the Christmas offering. Hopefully Down can continue the trend of solid episodes. It still feels like the series is flying under the radar a bit, which is a shame. There is good work being done that deserves a look from horror fans and non-horror fans alike.
Down, the Valentine's Day episode of Hulu and Blumhouse Productions Into the Dark series, is live to stream on Hulu beginning February 1st.
